Current Technical Information

Installation Error: Smart Designer X4 Anti Virus Issue

Issue: On June 1, Symantec, the maker of the Norton Anti virus line of products, released an update that disabled Smart Designer X4. Numerous other software vendors were affected by this update including Digital Art Solutions.

Solution: Download and install the Smart Designer X4 Service Patch. Digital Art Solutions is working with Symantec to resolve this problem in a future update to Norton Anti virus This problem will in no way affect the performance and operation of Smart Designer X4 once the service patch is installed.
